WEEK 13:
The render base coat is now well under way to the rear of the house. The new soffits and facias have been fitted on the original house, along with the new gutters and down pipes on both the original house and the extension. As noted in our previous post, the colours of these have been chosen to tie in with the ral colour of the new triple glazed alu-clad windows, window cills and parapet cappings.
Internally the electrical and mechanical first fix is complete and all timber stud walls have had a plaster slab fitted to one side to allow for the installation of the spray foam insulation. We will post some internal shots showing the spray foam insulation early next week.
